I would call them. This happened to us. I called them - on hold for 45 minutes - to discover they had our address as 6250 Etc Street, when it is 6520 Etc Street.

They had then put our case on hold. As when they sent the NOI it was returned as not known at that address.

6/05/06 - Mailed off the I29f

06/20/06 - Cheque cashed

7/07/06 - Still not received NOA1. Call CSC. They have input our address incorrectly. Give them the correct details. Also find out what our case number is from them so can check for touches!

07/13/06 - Receive RFE

07/26/06 - Email confirmation they have RFE

07/27/06 - Touched

08/23/07 - Call CSC to find out where NOA1 is and what date was on it. As it was sent to the wrong address it came back as undeliverable. They will not send it out again unless we send them a written request. However date was;

06/09/06 - NOA1

09/07/06 - NOA2 email confirmation

09/28/06 - NVC say they have sent details to US Embassy in London

12/09/06 - Sent back packet 3 recorded delivery

10/30/06 - Medical

11/06/06 - Interview confirmed 1st December!

01/17/07 - Wedding booked in Vegas

well pardon.

Either way I wouldn't worry yet! They have slowed down again there. That is where my forms are as well and at first they seemed to be right up to speed and now it is slow going.

NOA1s are taking upwards of 15-20 days to recieve, especially for transfers. Just hang in there. If it gets past 30 days and still not NOA1 or a checked cashed, then I'd start making some calls.

yep i agree, im personally planning on anything upto and around a month for the NOA1. Im guessing, but they are trying to clear all the IMBRA before putting newer ones into the system so we are getting a delay. could be totally wrong mind :D

still, dont panic for a bit, many are waiting 3+ weeks for theirs but it turns up in the end :)

Be aware that if they have input your address incorrectly into their system that it is still your fault.

They will then not do anything with it until you get in touch and give them the correct address.

They will also not resend the NOA unless you write to them requesting it. Thererfor if you find they have taken the address down incorrectly when you speak to them, also ask them what the date on the NOA is.

You can then start working out roughly how long this process is going to take from that date as they won't resend it to you.

What number our you guys referring to?

NSC received my petition on July 31, 2006, and I have yet to receive my NOA1. While I am not expecting miracles (at least not anymore!), in the advent that I do not receive any word, I was hoping that you guys might direct me to the office/dept that I could call to inquire about any progress/developments with my petition.

MANY thanks! K

It truly is a hit or a miss these days. I sent our I-129f to NSC they received on July 24, 2006. I have the NOA1 stating it was received at CSC with a date of July 26, 2006.

I didn't get the paper NOA1 till Aug 5th but I found out all this information by waiting for the check to cash and immeadiatly getting the case number off the cashed check from my bank. I then created a USCIS.GOV account, added my case number, and found out this information online on Aug 3, 2006

Be patient, keep watching for that check to clear. If you start to think some mistake was done, then call the CSC but that may be very difficult.
