So my fiance finally received Packet 3. The problem is with the DS230 there is pages 1-4, he only got 1&2 and no 3 and 4. He read the instructions to me and no where did it state on the letter to send in any forms before his interview or do the online 156 form. Is that online form necessary to do or can he take it with him on his interview?

Can someone plz tell me if we need to mail in any forms before his interview. I have googled and cannot find the answer.

I am not sure in your country but in Australia I received packet 3 via my US fiance in email. Here we print off from consulate site DS230 part 1 (biography)and part 2, 156 and 156k.

I had to fill all those forms in first and send to consulate with all my supporting documents eg: birth cert, marriage cert, divorce, medical envelope, police report, 134 original, proof of relationship, bank statements, date account opened, proof of fiance's work placement, full time /part time and wage. If you go to your fiance's embassy site it will and should tell you all that forms you need to fill in. Make copies of all your documents too.

I hope this helps

Hello and thank you. I did go to the site, but it never stated what to send in immediately. There are so many different stories floating around and when you ask your fellow members who have been through the same embassy recently or in the past few months, they don't even bother helping you since they have either A: received there visa or B: they just look at your page and ignore you. It's funny when they were asking all the questions, they got their answers, but now when someone needs help they just blow you off. I even emailed the embassy and they responded with a long version of what packet three was, but still did not mention one time what to send before interview. So I guess I will just have him fill out Part one and send it off. At this point we are losing time. Thank you again for your answer, i do appreciate it.good.gif
