how long for an interview date at Fairfax?

Hi everyone

I'm applying for citizenship under 319b. I'm going to request an interview at Fairfax, Virginia. How long does it take from sending documents to receiving an interview date?

I also read that you can reschedule or postpone interview date once and they generraly grant your request. Does anyone has any experience?

Fairfax has a huge workload, it takes forever to get interviewed there. It's better not to mention where you would like to be interviewed at. When your paperwork is ready, Nebraska will transfer your file to the fastest and nearest Office to your geographical Location which deals with 319 (b), they even give you choices to where you would like to be interviewed at depending on what's available at that time, and they do consider your preference.

Nebraska is very helpfull and has a very high knowledge of the 319 (b) cases. And yes they do accomidate you with whatever you are requesting, and I am speaking from a vey personal experience.
