Hi

I am new here and am in need of some urgent help. I am USC. My wife came to US on J-1 visa with 2 yrs home residency requirement. After completing her studies she went back to her home country and her two years will be up in end of august. We have already started the immigration process. We submitted DS230. I called NVC and they said that they reviewed our case and they need J-1 waiver.

1)How do I tell them that she does not need waiver since her 2 years HRR is done.

2)What proof can she send them to show she has been there for 2 years. Are copy of passport stamps with date of entry/exit sufficient? Or should we also send letter from her employer in her home country, stating that she has been working there for 2 years, Airplane ticket/itenary?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. This came as a suprise since we played by the rules and spent 2 yrs apart
