No it does not. I clearly said that none of the problems that I see in implementing a policy of work for welfare involve questions of ethnicity - colour is a non issue. Then you asked who comes out of inner cities. The question is stupid even if what you did mean by asking it is what colour are people who live in inner cities. There is no one colour of human that lives in inner cities, so your question is still as stupid as it was when you first asked it.

Obviously, there is no definition. So let's throw a few elements out there of what most Americans think of when they identify an area as being the "inner city".

Poverty, crime, litter, densely populated and urban.

No slim, I do not think that politics is free from people who use colour to drive debate. I do not think it is always relevant to every issue, and when it concerns the difficulty of implementing a work for welfare program I think it is completely irrelevant.

I am well versed with low income neighbourhoods around the down town areas of LA and London. I do not however have any regular business in them.

I always buy my lottery tickets in the hood. Suburban 7-11s never have winning tickets. And I get gas in the hood too, it's cheaper. Oh and yes, I will stop in the hispanic grocery stores in the hood for things like milk and bottled water.

I do most of my errands on a bicycle. There are all kinds of pockets of poverty in cities, not all is confined to inner city areas. I did not know that re lottery tickets, but it is likely a function of the fact that more people buy lottery tickets in poor areas than that lottery winning tickets can not be sold in suburbs

yup. i am very superstitious about where i get my megamillions tix. if there isn't at least one fried chicken place or bail bond place on the same block then i won't bother.

Well, good luck anyway. I used to be a member of a lottery work syndicate in the UK more for the fun of participating then any real hopes of winning. I have not bought one since I have lived here though.

actually, i've noticed a recent trend of many big jackpots coming from gas stations along the garden state parkway.

i may have to change my superstitions.
