Hello

I am filling out i-864 for my wife (she is the beneficiary) and my question is does she also need to fill one out even if she does not work?

BTW- my income does meet the poverty guidelines.

Thanks in advance!

No, you only do the one I-864 since you are sponsoring her and your income is enough.

What about the reverse. My husband (US Citizen) doesn't make enough. But I do (I am the beneficiary). We have a sponsor. But should I still fill out a i-864?

I believe your husband and the sponsor each fill out the affidavit. It seems like there might be a special form like I-864A for the sponsor, but someone else with more knowledge can comment on that. Be sure to provide all of the documentation like tax records, etc. for BOTH people (husband and sponsor). It is my understanding that the beneficiary does not fill out the affidavit at all.
