I will be booking my fiances trip in a day or two through expedia. Im going to have him stay in the holiday in everyone suggested. Im just concerned about when he arrives at the airport, is it safe for him to just get into a taxi? does anyone know if there is a pick up from the hotel that can meet him when he arrives at the airport? im just so nervous since this area is soooo dangerous. Thanks guys

Taxi from the airport will be fine. It's only 10-15min. You pay inside the airport at a kiosk, so virtually no risk there. Cost is around 70 pesos. He should be fine. The Holiday Inn has a free shuttle to the airport but is not allowed to pickup at the airport.
