Switch from Montreal to Vancouver?

Timeline

I think it depends on your province of residence as to which consulate you have to go through. I have not read anyone switching just because they wanted to. What province are you in? ... and are you a K1??

I think the only way this would work is if you had a residence there. For example, if you had a family member that lived there, you could let NVC or something know that you have moved and haev your file transfered. I don`t know exactly how this part would work, you might want someone else to chip in on this, but I guess it could work. I know your adress there can`t be a p.o. box, but an actual adress.

I tought of doing that as well when I realized how long it would take, but I decided not to and go with the flow. It is a long wait and depending of your situation it could be an option, but now that I`m done with it, I`m glad I didn`t switch. It`s up to you I guess!
