Hey everyone, I have been trying to get my medical papers certified by a civil surgeon and everyone I call are saying they have to give me a physical first and that is around 200 dollars! This can't be true as I had my physical in London before I arrived, they must know I wouldn't have got to the US if I hadn't!!

Can anyone help?

Should I just keep calling other doctors...?

Civil Surgeons

Keep calling. The above is a link to the civil surgeons in your area. If you had your K-1 medical within the past year you just need the vaccines transcribed. This would probably be around $40 or so as long as you don't need to have additional vaccinations at the time.

Also this link talks about the experiences of some board members with area civil surgeons and how much they cost:

Civil Surgeons that don't rip you off

Good luck!
