Hi i am preparing my documents for Adjustment of Status and am currently filling out the I-864. I am a little confused with question #1 and #8 on the form. My father whom we live with is going to help sponsor my husband since i am currently unemployed so on question #1 do i check A: i am the petitioner or do i check E: i am the first or second of two joint sponsors??? Also on part 3 question 8 do i check yes or no for i am sponsoring the principal immigrant???

You are the petitioner because you filed for your husband to come to America. You have to fill out the I-864 as the sponsor even if you are unemployed. List your father as a member of your household because you live with him. He fills out the I-864A Household Agreement form with you signing as the sponsor.
