my medical is this month, im under medication of psychiatrist.

do i need to declare it in medical.

is it a ground for visa refusal?

im from phils, you know theres stigma here about this about going to a doc like thats.

can i not declare it,do they have means to test it by urine or blood, i mean the medicines im taking?

im functional i have job and i go to grad school.

but i have anxiety and sometimes palpitate much but im already okay but still under treatment.

ths is so serious. please help. i cant think straight.

is this a big deal.

It won't be against you. As far as one's health is concerned, only HIV is the only valid reason for denial (well, maybe some other communicable disease that cannot be treated and perhaps drug abuse, but you get the idea). My friend got to the US two years ago as a staff in a hospital even if he's got a psychiatric history (depression and schizophrenia!) and still taking meds. Lying and fraud would more likely cause your denial. You'd still be interviewed in the US as you apply for the furtherance of your visa, and if they find out that you lied in your embassy interview, that would be a red flag.

i will declare it since the truth will set free.i will just get written certification.

as i review your answer, its a really great help knowing that i will also be interviewd again there aside from the interview here, with that my mind conluded if i make mistake now, it will haunt me soon. being is honest is best.

and with the info about your friend, thats a great relief also, they even let him work in their hospital and admitted in US.

i hold in my mind that US is really an Equal opportunity employer but sometimes mind keeps wandering but with your sharing its clearer to me.
