I just recieved a I-797C, Notice of Action. Would this be my NOA1 for my time line? I read other posts regarding the I-797C in what it means, because mine just states my address, payment and I-192F is in process.

yep that is your NOA1 however it wouldnt be dated the 5th look in the top left corner and it should have a date before the 5th and that is your actual NOA1 date.....GOOD luck on your journey!!!!

Thanks! do you mean the "Notice Date" because it's in the right hand corner, and my "Recieved Date" is in the middle of the 3rd Row after the "Reciept Number"?

....and do i use the "Reciept Number" to sign up for "Case Updates" on the USCIS web site?

sorry for my delayed response but the answer is yes to both questions and since you already registered on uscis.gov i take it you have found all you need....Now all you need to do is wait......good luck on your journey!!!!
