Interview without USEM letter

I got a letter from NVC about 3 weeks ago that they sent the file to the USEM. Was able to schedule an interview appointment using the MNL number but my fiance hasn't received the USEM letter yet. My fiance already did her medicals and her interview is coming up in a week. Assuming she doesn't get the USEM letter, can she go to the interview with just the email interview confirmation from the call center or is she required to present the USEM letter? Any experience on this, guys? Thanks!

The email confirmation letter is what she needs for her interview. She's going to show it with her ID to the guard at the embassy gate so they will let her in.

We had the same problem. I just scanned my copy I got in the mail and emailed it to her. She printed out at an internet cafe and no problems at the embassy (approved july '09). Oh, my wife did get her letter......3 weeks after her interview! Philippine post office.......

As long as u have an email confirmation for your interview date, your good to go. I only had that before. Print and show that to the guard at the embassy and she's fine.
