Good day,

My spouse will be obtaining their CR-1 visa within the next few months and I was interested if anyone has had experience with applying for scholarships for their spouse. My spouse has taken several English classes in their country and I would be interested in having them continue their studies in the United States to improve their fluency, thereby giving them more opportunities for success, and possibly focus on a certain concentration pertaining to their interest. I realize there are a lot of variables that are considered for someone to be eligible for a scholarship such as financial background/status, concentration, the university itself, etc., but I am just looking for anyone's input on what kind of experiences you've had. Also, if you are aware of any well-known scholarships for immigrants or helpful websites, please let me know. I have already started contacting some financial aid departments from different universities to see what options are available but I am just looking into any sources of information that I can obtain in relation to this. Please post any kind of input you may have, it would be greatly appreciated, thank you! :)
