Regarding My G-325A Employment?...

My question about my G-325A. I'm currently self-employed and on unemployemnt since being laid off from the US Postal Service. I'm a game software developer, but have not completed and published my first game yet. December of 2010 is my target date.

So it looks like I'm going to have to find a job or two to at lease past the income requirements. So for completing the application "Employment last five years" in the Present row, do I put my business name, self-employed or unemployed? My business address is the same as my home address.

Any Suggestings?

Can you show tax returns for last year with income on it that satisfies the requirements? If so, you can list yourself as self employed, so long as the tax returns will pass muster.

A bank letter showing the deposits and withdrawals for the past year, along with bank statements to back it up, will help you as well.

Good luck!

I have made no money from my business yet. I've been unemployed from the US Postal Service since July 11, 2009. Been working my first game full time since the layoff. The tax return for 2009 will show the Postal Service and the four months unemployment income.

So what should I do?

I will go ahead and list myself as self employed and register my company with my county. I was going to wait just before I publish my first game. When should I expect to provide the "Affidavit of Support"?
