I 134 is this enough?

i just recieved my noa 2 for my fiance in the philippines. now for the I 134 affadavit of support my question is:

ive been back from the philippines for 5 months now and got a job when i came back making 55000 to 60000 a year now.can i use paystubs for half a year or so. but i cant show income on past 3 years tax returns because i was stayin in philippines with my gf and not working here.,is this a problem? or does it not matter? is my job alone good enough to pass without bank statements and tax returns? thanks

I think I answered you in the K1 forum, but I'll answer again just to make sure.

Yes, you will still need to show your tax return from last year, but you can also send in a letter from your employer stating when you started your job, your job description, that you're a regular (not temp) employee in good standing, and your salary or wage. Submit this along with as many pay stubs as you can and you should be fine. I also sent a letter from my bank showing how much I'd deposited and withdrawn in the past year, as well as 3 months of bank statements just to back everything up.

Dodi is right, you're only required to submit only one year of ITRs. You can supply the consul with supplementary evidence such as bank statements, property leases and such if you want to strengthen your case. My fiance was unemployed last year and the consul emphasized that what weighed more to him were the recent pay stubs. I wrote everything down in my blog so as to help others. The link is on my page. Your present job is above the required poverty line so I'm confident that your case is good. My fiancé makes Php 24,000 a year and I passed the interview despite the low ITRs for '09. Forget to provide a Letter of Employment!
