N 400 Finger Print -early walk in question

Hello everyone,

I just received my Finger Print notice today and it's scheduled on 8/12/10. I read some other thread talking about early walk-in for finger prints. Could anyone be kind enough to tell me if the early walk-in will make the whole naturalization process go faster?

The assumption is it does, but in fact there is no way of knowing as it is impossible to know what difference going on the assigned dated would have made. If you walk in 2 weeks before your appointment does it speed the process up by 2 weeks, no-way to know for sure.

If it is convenient to do an early walk in, there is nothing to lose.

Actually, the biometrics get processed by the FBI and not USCIS. If you go early, it may not affect the progress/speed of your application.
