hurray finaly its less then two weeks and i am going to india and will try to go in with wife and i am citizen...can i go with her inside at th time of interview?

well im taking my bacnk statement from april(coz in april i had more money then now) ok?,my last 3years tax,my company letter,our emamils and phoe records,our greeting cards,our marriage and engagment pictures and myself:P

is there nything i am missing which i should be taking with me??

i have seen some topics AP...whts AP why some people are stuck st some Ap...whts AP stands for????

plzs help me folks:)

Depends on your consulate... mine was New Delhi and they did allow me in at the time of the interview... but I know that Mumbai and Chennai will not allow you.

It sounds like you have a good list started

AP is Administrative Processing... it is when they have to do additional checks after the interview... Like my Husband was approved at the interview but then put on AP... it can last anywhere to a few weeks to several months... it is very common at the New Delhi consulate

05/27/2010: Approved at the interview, but put on AP afterwards :(

06/27/2010: Really missing my Hubby :*(

07/29/2010: Visa Issued!! AP is OVER!!

07/31/2010: Visa in hand!!! Thank you GOD!

09/01/2010: POE JFK
