My review on going through customs on 07/07/2010

Hello everyone..........So I am the petioner and I visited my husband in Canada (the benificary) I am in Canada right now with him...I left on Tuesday July 7th........ When the plane was starting to decend I looked out the window and I could see the CN tower, at that point I knew it was time to face the customs officer, I got extremly naseous. So I got my bag got off the plane and walked to customs. When I got to the customs area I went to the line with the female officer.

ME - HELLO

OFFICER- HI, WHERE ARE YOU VISTING FROM?

ME- SAN FRANSISCO

OFFICER- WHERE ARE YOU GOING AND WHO ARE YOU VISITING?

ME- IM VISITING MY HUSBAND AND IN-LAWS, AND I'M VISITING TORONTO.

OFFICER- ARE YOU STAYING WITH THEM?

ME- YES.

OFFICER- OKAY HAVE A NICE TRIP.

ME- THANK YOU.

Sooooo thats my review.......I was soooo nervous prior to my trip I had wrote down 93 days visting on the declaration form........and she didn't say anything about me staying. I had all my ties from home ready to show and she didn't ask to see any of them. And she was super nice. =) I'll be staying here in canada till October 7th. My husband and I will celebrate our 1st anniversary together on Sept. 26th!!! I'm sooo happy =D

2010 May 13: Check cashed

2010 May 12: NOA1

2010 Jun 8: Touched

2010 Jun 9: Touched ...again???

2010 Oct 26: Touched !! (after calling USCIS, and congressman 3 days earlier)

2010 Nov 1: RFE (G-325A & Photos)

2010 Nov 9: Touched

2010 Nov 10: Touched

2010 Nov 16: Touched

2010 Nov 17: Touched ... again.

2010 NOV 22: NOA2 =)

NVC

11/xx/10: NVC Assigns a Case#

11/30/10: Called NVC provided emails/ got case# & IIN #

11/30/10: hubby emailed DS3032

11/30/10: paid AOS fee

12/01/10: AOS status paid

12/06/10: hubby emailed DS3032 again..got a confirmation same day!

12/06/10: IV bill invoiced

12/07/10: DS-3032 (Choice of agent) accepted

12/10/10: mailed AOS packet!

12/15/10: pay IV bill

01/10/11: hubby mailed IV packet

02/01/11: checklist from NVC hubby has to fill out EP for montreal!

02/06/11: hubby completed and submitted EP application.

03/10/11: SIF/ case complete=)

04/12/11: Medical completed!

04/20/11: Picked up medical...passed =)

05/03/11: Interview Scheduled @ 8AM!!! =)

05/03/11: APPROVED YAY! =)

05/09/11: Visa in hand! =)

07/02/11: POE =)=)

Doesn't surprise me ONE bit, getting into Canada is easy! A Canadian visiting US, not.so.much! Enjoy your visit!

Mar 24, 2011 - smile.png GC and Welcome Letter
Sept 19, 2011- Filed I-130 for my son (his step son)
June 14, 2013-APPROVED, 10 YR GC IN THE MAIL

Mar 3, 2014- N-400

May 12, 2014 Interview for Citizenship- PASSED!

June 12th, USA citizen - Oath Ceremony...all done here!!

It was humid here for a couple days, today is better though. I think we are going to go to Niagra falls next week, and go on a hike. yesterday we went to lake ontario, it was fun =)
