Hello,

i need urgent advise regarding PCC.

i changed the address and also included my wife's name in my passport, ahmedabad RPO issued me a new passport. i had no police inquiry for it. i just received it last week. my wife is LPR of USA and she filed for me in june 2008. now the priority date is current, NVC has asked for DS 230 and other civil documents. I went to DSP office but they are saying first go and get the pcc from all the places u resided. yeah, i'm in shock!

i was born and did schooling from rajasthan then went to punjab for MBBS (got my passport from chandigarh). then again i went back home for 3 years and now i'm living in gujarat since 20 months.

is it true i need pcc from all the places? i am living in gujarat since 20 months. shall i directly go to passport office and ask for pcc as my passport is fresh? i'm too confused..

pls help me regarding this PCC....pls....
