Home from a scintillating evening of Mexican food at some Tex-Mex travesty of a restautant, frozen hot chocolate and knitting in public at Vromans bookshop, followed by The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and more knitting at my friend's place in Pasadena. And so to bed.

I am not hungover. I really only drink water. I buy a diet coke about once a week. other than that I drink 2-3 liters of water a day. nothing else. I'm boring.

My wife is also a knitter...she is perpetually knitting in her few rare moments when she is not zoomzooming about....

She's basically knitted the entire extended family some very great shawls and scarves. I think she's started some sweaters now. Its amazing, she seems to be able to do everything!

cool. I mainly make things for little people. I'm not that fast and like to see progress. I don't think I'd make it through something for an adult without giving up

I'm trying to motivate. I need to get out of bed.
