Proof of Income

I have two questions. One is that my job is seasonal. For about 4 months every year I am laid off (this is usually when I visit my fiance). I cumulatively over the year make well over the poverty line. But, would it be ok to include unemployment checks (I collect UI while laid off) along with the pay stubs and an explanation of my job situation and total income for the year ? I think because of this situation I would include tax info. I've noticed that some people say it isn't necessary, but including it doesn't hurt right ?

Second question. At what point in the process do I have to submit proof of income ? Is it in the initial application or later on down the line ? I would like to make sure I am working full time when asked for this information. As opposed to during my lay-off period.

I definitely think you should include your tax info. I think with the tax info, nobody can question your income or job. I dont know about when to submit proof of income, as I am at the point waiting to submit that.

For the interview, you must to submit your most recent U.S. Federal income tax return (Form 1040) and wage statements (Form W-2). Also: Employment letters stating salaries, the I-134 form (original I-134 must be sent) and recents paystubs (at least 3 months)
