hello

i got a letter from the nvc that my petition is approved. i thought i saw 2 other approval for the lagos embassy in june. i thought we can keep track and kind of help each other out. From what i am reading i think i should be getting a letter from the embassy for interview, but i am sure of this. if any body has addition information or what we should expect or do now please let me know. i dont know if it is too early to have him go for the medical test or wait till we get interview date

I APPLIED FOR 129F ON APRIL 12, 2010 IN THE VSC. on June 23 i got a letter from nvc STATING THAT AN APPROVAL WAS SENT TO THEM FROM USCIS AND THAT THEY WILL FORWARD MY THINGS TO NIGERIA CONSULATE IN ONE WEEK AND THE NIGERA EMBASSY WILL SCHEDULE MY INTERVIEW.

Go to this link and get your packets Lagos packet for K1/k3's

Get your police certificates in order and make your medical appointment. Go over any issues you have such as only one short visit , large age differences , no pictures with parents. The USC should pull together the data from the I 134 if they don't have it all ready. Double check any divorce papers

Hi Amaka, I got my NOA2 in June too . My fiance is waiting for the interview letter as well. In the meantime, just like NigeriaorBust said, he is getting his police report and medical report together.

From what I've seen, the interview dates are already in October at this time.

I was approved in June as well and my paperwork has been at the NVC since June 18th I'm trying to be patient and wait for them to send it on.....

I got my NOA2 June 14th and after 22days they have finally sent my paperwork to Nigeria AMEN!!! now onto packet 3....and I pray for an interview date before the end of the year

Cece,plz what i am trying to find out is,should i download the forms and begin the medicals and the police certificate right away without waiting for the packets.Thanks for the response!

They don't send them out usually they tell you to download them. You have everything you need in the download

so if we download the form and fill it out for packet 3 and 4. do we need to return it to the embassy or just hold on to it till we are called for the interview. what document do we need to take to the medical test.

Download this form if you don't have it already Medical form

Call the number on page 2 and make your appointment. IF you have had shots in the past bring those records with you. There are some shots that require more than one so don't wait until the last minute. If you aren't finished with the shots you can complete them in the US but it is expensive here usually.

Got interview date now I feel like I should be doing something........Just to have clarification there really is no "pkt 4?" "Pkt 4" is the email the embassy sends you with your interview date?

It used to be the embassy handed out one packet (3) early on and then when the person returned it they got another one (4) now days they bundle it all into the download and you get it that way *Nigeria never really had a packet 4 I think it was one sheet.
