Could you imagine how dominate we would be in the sport if our best athletes went to soccer.

Most of our athletes are straight, red blooded Amurkins who wouldn't be caught dead prancing around a field for 90 minutes.

I bet the Chinese guy in this clip is a great soccer player. Look at his mannerisms, they reek of soccer.

My guess though is Brazil or Argentina will win, from what I recall they usually do...

n00b - The most frequent winners of the World Cup are Brazil (5), Italy (4) and Germany (3).

Argentina and Uruguay follow with two wins each. England and France pulled off one title each and that sums it up.

Fine, I'll agree with you on that. But there is nothing like listening to Test Match Special on Long Wave while you do the housework. It puts you into this sort of otherworldly trance, where you float above the hoover, and yet you are pushing the hoover. It's quite remarkable.

The only cricket worth watching are one-days, and that too only if the teams playing are evenly matched. Bangladesh vs. Australia? Shoot me now.

I watched some of a shorter cricket matches tournament. It was going on while we were in India so the family watched it every night that it was on. I find it faster moving than baseball. Baseball is soo boring. But I usually didn't know what was going on.

I like american football and basketball more than the other sports. But I don't watch any. I watched football when Tampa's team was getting better over 10 years ago and then went to the superbowl. I only get excited if our team is doing good. If they are doing bad, I shun them.

I only watch baseball to see the Red Sox lose. The tears of a million sox fans fuels me.
