I am permanent resident here in the US two years now.

I just got a new PI passport, from Chicago.

The problem-even though I requested the name I am using in the US (Aye Bee Cee) the passport office put (Aye Dee Cee) using my old maiden name as my middle name as is the tradition in the PI.

Bee=old middle name(US custom)

Dee=old maiden name\new middle name(PI custom)

So my US green card, plane tickets, USCIS, marriage papers, bank accounts, lease all say Aye Bee Cee

Now my new passport says Aye Dee Cee

Has anyone else had this problem before?

Did u have any luck getting the PI embassy to change the passport?

Did you have any trouble boarding planes for travel because of the difference?

Or getting back into the US?

Thanks in advance for your help!
