I've been to P-Town and I've seen plenty of gays, but not any pedophiles or 7 year olds having sex.

You, clearly, don't understand. Let me explain..... Homosexuals populate P-town. Homosexuals are also usually very very liberal. Therefore, the liberals of P-town want to 'celebrate diversity' by giving condoms to anyone in public school. Anything else wouldn't be 'fair'. Therefore violating the liberal mantra. This is not about queers raping kids.

I understand the thinking behind the policy, but it is misguided. All it is (and there are quotes in the article to this effect) is that they didn't set an age limit because they there is no agreement on when kids become sexually active.

That doesn't mean that there is a real likelihood of an elementary kid asking for condoms, or even that the school district is promoting underrage sex, or that the condoms would actually "fit" if an elementary school kid tried to use them.

As I understand it they are rewording the policy. Storm in a teacup if you ask me.

But people like to have something to shake their fists at, so have at it.

No, I don't. I didn't realize that the year round population was primarily homosexual and that they all have kids in school. I guess I have been under the wrong impression that gays come from all over the country to spend the summer at P-town and that the year round population of 3000 was where the school kids came from.

As far as this article, most know where I stand on it, as referenced in another thread. But there IS an age of consent...how bout following that, instead of letting 7 year olds have access to condoms?
