Just was curious to see how many there were on here (as we are generally in 'short supply') and what your experiences of the visa process were from an 'off mainland' perspective.

1990(-ish): Family Holiday to FL. Met Nicole & family.

1990(-ish) - 1992(-ish): A few return visits

08-09/2007: Go back to FL. Meet with 'the folks' & Accept that we both 'like' each other & start dating.

02/2008 - Present: ...go back to FL again a few times.

09/2009: Propose and she says 'Yes'! :D

11/06/2009: I-129F posted to VSC

11/07/2009: I-129F received at VSC

11/09/2009: NOA1

11/13/2009: Touch

12/2009: ...back to FL once again

03/08/2010: Touch & NOA2 (119 Days)

03/11/2010: NVC have my case

03/12/2010: NVC incorrectly assigned & dispatched case to Dublin, not London!

03/18/2010: Package arrived in Dublin

03/19/2010: Ring Dublin and get case transferred to London

04/01/2010: London Sent 'P3'

04/03/2010: I Received 'P3'

04/14/2010: 'P3' sent back to embassy

04/16/2010: 'P3' recieved at embassy

04/29/2010: Medical - Passed

06/17/2010: Interview - In AP (220 Days)

08/17/2010: AP Finished - Approved

From Ballymena. :) Well, someone has to be!

I did my visa processing via London though because I was living in Scotland. I put London on the list, I probably could have gotten away with doing it at Belfast, I know some people that have gone there. The wait time was a little less, but to be honest, the times fell perfectly for me anyway.

Will it be Orlando you live in when you move?

If you are a Wilson, then we have the same name...

My husband Gary is from Antrim.

Came here in 2006 for hols and we ended up marrying spur of the moment.

Did AOS from here, was very nerve wracking even though we were together. We knew if we got denied, we had no appeal option.

Anyway he has his 10yr GC now and will apply for Citizenship in the future.

October 31, 2016 I-130 sent to Chicago Lockbox

November 4, 2016 Received text case sent to Nebraska

November 10, 2016 Received Hard copy of NOA1

For K-1 it has to be London. Not sure about the CR-1.

Yeah, will be Orlando but have a few friends in and around Tampa (Clearwater).

Same name, same town and if i'm not mistaken your profile pic is at Galgorm castle. :)

ha ok, small world :)

It is indeed Galgorm castle, we got our wedding pics taken there after getting married. They still bring a tear to my eye, she looked so beautiful, but I digress....

I used to live in Galgorm through my teenage years, after a few years in the infamous DR estate, that was some change.
