The possible travel companions are the those who would have their interviews in mid-July. Having said that, they probably wouldn't know their travel date until they have their visa on hand. I suggest for you to just keep bumping this thread up at least twice a week starting in mid-July.

Thank you for the suggestion, but she has her visa already. So anytime before her visa runs out is great.

It might help to say where her POE will be.

Someone going to Los Angeles won't be much help if mother has a POE of New York City.

Just a thought.

The POE has not been determined as an airline ticket has not been purchased yet. The POE will most likely be wherever the POE is is of whoever assists her.

The final destination will be Denver is that is what you are asking.

Filed: K-1 Visa Country: Philippines
Timeline

You could have her fly on PAL from Manila to either LA or Las Vegas. Since the plane would be filled with plenty Filipinos, she could just ask a someone on how to travel and navigate the airport and customs. Then have your wife meet her in either LA or Vegas and fly with her to Denver.

Hello edp333,

Yes, I just thought it will help to know.

You wouldn't want someone with NYC as the POE as then your mother would need to fly back to Denver by herself.

I have spoken with my wife this evening and if things would work out for both, my wife would be willing to help your mother.

Our POE will be Minneapolis, Detroit, or Chicago (depending on airline). My wife will then be flying on to St. Louis.

As we do not have her visa yet, we are unsure when my wife will be flying but it will be within a couple days after receiving the visa. Her interview will be the end of June.

Then it will depend on whether she can pick up the visa...or if it will be Air21. Sorry but this would not give your mother much advance notice.

BTW....I have a friend whose mother will be coming to USA (same POE as ours) from Davao (thru Manila) sometime around the middle or end of July for a visit.

If you would like I can speak with him about this also. They will know by the end of June what the exact date will be.
