My Fiance's Visa from Philippines to the USA expires on August 25th....the problem...I am stuck working in the Philippines until December...is there any way to get the 6 month period to travel to the USA extended? We live together in Manila now.

Help please for the best plan?

there are some here that have done it, however it is no help to you if they did it in Germany because it is at the discretion of the consulate and every consulate is different..... CALL the Consulate and explain your situation....

YMMV

In my case, I was able to have my K1 visa reissued. I was not able to leave within six months of my visa`s validity due to some family problem too.

I emailed and faxed a letter to the US embassy explaining my case and they responded after a few weeks. I was asked to surrender my expired visa and passport to the US embassy together with an explanation. Then I recieved an appointment letter again from them again to appear for a new interview, new medical and some documents like new NBI clearance and 2x2 pictures. Then I was issued a new visa valid for another 6 months.
