Hi guys!

I have a question regarding I-864.

I just finished my MBA before I came to the U.S. with a K1 visa.

My fiancee is still a student and does not work.

When we were filling out the papers for my K1 visa, she filled out form I-134 as my sponsor stating that she does not have any income. Her dad also filled out I-134 as my co-sponsor.

Is it the same process for the I-864?

Does my fiancee has to fill out I-864 as my sponsor and her dad as my co-sposor?

Yes - if he is going to be the "Joint Sponser".

Your spouse will be the primary and must also complete an I-864 even if she has no income.

3/31/2010 MARRIED !!!

11/20/2010 Filed I-485

12/23/2010 Biometrics (Buffalo, NY)

12/31/2010 I-485 Transfered to CSC

2/4/2011 Green Card received

1/7/2013 Mailed I-751 package

1/14/2013 I-751 NOA (VSC)

2/07/2013 Biometrics (Buffalo, NY)
