Interview one month from now

I got an email today stating that our interview is schedule for July 9th. Which shocked me, because the email I received before said it wouldn't be until late July/early August. I feel so excited but am nervous at the same time. Right now we are doing everything express and fiance is in Portmore very close to Spanish town and Kingston to do both the No-impediment to marriage and the police record. The bad news is that he has to set up an appointment to get the appointment letter. Wish us luck on these next 4 weeks.

Thanks my3rmylife. Yeah, Spanish Town is not too far from Portmore. I think my fiance and I are going to stay in Portmore. He will stay by his friend and I will stay by my sister, due to the fact she has children there and we wouldn't want them to hear something thumping in the night, lol. We will either have my fiance's friend take us or charter my sisters neighbor to take us to the embassy.

Good luck. Be careful with the Non-Impediment, make sure you have them hand deliver it to a place where you know your fiance is going to be. They delivered it to my fiances place of work on her day off. Instead of coming back the next day to hand deliver it to her like they are suppose to they left it with security, luckily it made its way to the HR dept. without it finding legs and walking off with someone. Out of all the documents that was the biggest pain in the a**.

Thanks for the heads up. I will ask him if doesn't mind receiving it in Portmore instead of St. Mary. The people in our district are too nosey and bad-minded. Next week he will look about the Non-impediment and police record at the same time.

Does anyone have a clue on how much the police record costs and how long it will take?

Dont' wait to long the Non-Impediment can take longer then what they say

Police Record is bewtween 2000 and 3000 JMD, can't remember what Kaci paid. Only takes 3 to 4 days to recieve police records.

Ok great I will tell him that tonight and have him do that on Monday. Which office did she go to? I think my fiance can have it done in St. Ann's Bay.

One more thing will it be worth it to pay the express fee of an extra $1500 for them to get it done or will it be a waste of money? (Non-impediment)

My fiance went to the head office in Spanish Town. She wanted to pay the extra 1500 for the express service but it was unavailable. She ordered them on May 7th and did not recieve the certificate until the 27th, and that was the 7 to 10 day service. It was the couriers fault not the RGD but still what a stress. If anything I would have your fiance go to the head office. Atleast the order will be made where the certificate is made.

Thanks for the help. He told me he went to do his Police record yesterday. So that is checked off the list. All we need now is the non-impediment, schedule an appointment to pick up his packet 3 and 4 and schedule his medical.
