RGD messed up huge

Hey all I have a situation...Why would the RGD office spell my fiancé name Kacianne Renée Lawson when her middle name has no accent...it is just Renee. She provided her birth certificate when she got it and there is no accent mark on her middle name in the birth certicficate...I think the RGD f'ed up and now were going to have to suffer...so annoyed right now. My guess is were gonna get a blue slip...I'm so upset I hate RGD

I wouldn't worry too much about it. Based on my experience with our interview, I doubt they will even notice something so minor. If they do, just explain the situation. But honestly, I don't think it is something that will even come up or cause any problems for you guys.

My guess is they won't even notice it. I wouldn't stress over it. The spelling of it is correct and I think that's what matters most. You are almost there.. Don't stress yourself out! I think its like when we spell the word program and in JA they may spell it programme, it still means the same thing

That makes us feel a little better...we both have been so sad and thinking the worst. She has been so busy and when I got down here and saw it I was like why is there an accent...I just know we are dealing with the US gov. I just don't want us to get no approval cause the RGD doesn't know how to pay attention to proper spelling...absolutely ridiculous...we feel like crying

I agree, I wouldn't stress that much over an accent - I know people who got through with misspellings on their divorce decree

well in not gonna lie I am much relieved to make you all laugh at my crazyness...lol. Thank you everyone for Calming me. I do Have one question someone made a post stating I needed 2007 W2 and tax return and I was still in college and barely worked...not like I can do anything about it now as I lie in bed in Kingston...all I can tell them is I was in college and wasn't working full time. I mean they will be able to see in 2008/2009 I made well above the poverty line and I have the letter from employee and 134 affidavit...well thanks again everyone by noon tomorrow all out answers will be answered.

What you have is fine, they only asked me for my 2009 tax return.

I brought in my returns from the past 3 years and they handed me back the one from 2007 saying it was too long ago to be relevant. Just wanted my last two years. You should be fine.
