I am curious, for those of you who had to go to a 2nd interview, were the questions any easier? Did it take as long as it took to get to the first interview? I recently refiled a K1 but on second thought I feel like I should go to Vietnam and get married. The first filing took 15 months from USCIS receipt to interview so I don't know what if anything will be different. What do you do if you fail again? I am also reading on the internet that if I get a work permit in Canada then you can bring your wife maybe all she has to do is go to the Canadian consulate in Saigon and I can file her paperwork here with my work permit. Any suggestions?

Clay, The interview scheduling etc will take about the same time as before... You would have a new step in the process when they send a NOID.... and you respond to that... but then there will also be less time spent investigating you and her so there is a little offset of time... They are moving cases through at about the same speed as when you went through last go.. You should have an interview in 6-8 monthsas long as you get the response to the NOID back to them ASAP.. from there.. everything should go smoother as you know what to expect and how to prepare... several have just gotten visas after refiling or rebuttals with minimal problems
