For Filipinos who are a GC holder who visited the Phils, did the Phil immigration ask you to pay 200 pesos as tax.

I was surprised because some of my relatives and friends are also a GC holder but they never encountered this kind of Tax.

Also, during my trip as first time immigrant, they never told me to pay.

I just pay so as not to waste my time. Good thing for me because I have an extra 200 pesos on my pocket besides the 750 pesos for terminal fee.

Yes, this happened to my wife when we left the Philippines earlier this week. We didn't know this. I think its because if you buy your ticket in the Philippines they add the 200 peso fee automatically, but if you purchased online/in the US they don't put that fee in so you have to pay for it when you leave.

Thanks for the clarification Eric.

Now I know that I should put extra peso on my pocket everytime I leave PI.
