Filipino brother's children visa petitions

I am asking for a few questions about my brother who is from the Philippines. He's been her for about 4 years and is a permanant resident here with a visa. He's not a US Citizen at this time but wants to petition his children from the Philippines. He has 6 children all under 18 years old. He wants to bring them here. He doen't know where to start. I'm an American Filipino and don't know too much on the child petition. It's a lot different than my petition with my wife. Is there a filing fee for each of the children he wants to petition? Or is there a one fee to bring all them here. I think he wants to bring them two by two but wants to know the costly rates to bring them here and the exact petitions to fill up. Anything would help at this time with info. Message me and I will work with all you there. I am trying to help my brother, thanks.

God bless.

He's not a US Citizen at this time but wants to petition his children from the Philippines. He has 6 children all under 18 years old. He wants to bring them here.

He could petition his kids through the F2A category which is petition for Spouse and Children below 21 by a Legal Permanent Resident. (Which is also the category used by my LPR husband to petition me and our baby). Quoted from the glossary of Visa Terms:

Family Second Preference: A category of family immigration (F2) for spouses, children and unmarried sons and daughters of lawful permanent residents. Visit our Family Based Immigration webpage for more info.

The main difference though is the time frame of the petition. In F2A category, they still have to wait for around 3-5 yrs since there are only a limited number of immigrant visa number available to this category. However, it is still good to have the petition rolling so as not to waste time. If ever you brother would be a citizen, he could upgrade the petition to IR and will be able to bring his kids faster.

Hope this would help in a way...
