Happy Tuesday Mena Peeps! Its hot hot hot outside!!! Got crawfish boiling to be eaten inside! I love it!

Ok, my step dad came home the other day with a tabaccoless cig that he got from the mall. It has no tabacco/tar, only vapor and nicotine. The nicotine filter can be at different levels depending on how heavy a smoker a person is. And you can work your way down to 0 nicotene. So, its been day 4 that hes been using it and he hasnt smoked a real cig since.

Adam and I went to the mall today and got the same thing but with menthol flavor filter. He says he likes it and he doesnt feel that its awkwards or anything. So, its actually cheaper than buying cigarettes, plus not using any tabacco. I dont smell cig on him, hes not getting ashes all over the place, and it seems to be doing the job bcz he hasnt smoked a reg cig since he bought these things this morning.

If this works for Adam and my step dad I will keep yall posted... maybe it will be something that other smokers would be interested in. I know I have appreciated it all day without having to breathe in tabacco and deal with ashes everywhere and in the long run, if he can quit smoking that would possibly help his heart issue/live healthier and save us $1,000+ a year!

Best of luck on stopping. I know it is hard coming from a place where everyone smokes....Tamer stopped cold turkey when I took my kids to visit and hasnt smoked since. I think one thing that helped is I brought whitening toothpaste and now he sees just how white his smile can be (he has a great one) he doesnt want to smoke anymore. I am proud of him.....GOOD LUCK.
