Ok, so here is my case. I got this RFE on April 15th. This is what it says in in the RFE:

1. Submit all supporting tax documentations (W-2s, 1099s, etc) submitted to the IRS from the petitioner/sponsor on Form I-864 blah blah blah.... of the most recent tax year.

2. The joint sponsor on form I-864, Affidavit of Support, must submit all supporting tax documentation (W-2s, 1099s, etc) submitted to the IRS blah blah blah... of the most recent tax year.

3. Submit evidence of joint sponsor's status.

Now I got the petitioner's 2009 W2's. And the joint sponsors W2 and 1099. And joint sponsor's birth certificate. There was a problem in the birth certificate. The mother's family was spelled wrong just one letter but then we thought we'll just go ahead and send it.

Is there going to be a problem with the birth certificate?

Should I submit just the requested documents or I will also recopy the 3 years Tax Returns?

Thanks for helping...

Birth certificates are legal documents. Even one additional/lacking letter does make a difference.

E.g. Sue Chan is a completely different person than Sue Chang.

I would correct the problem, but that's just me.

Should I submit just the requested documents or I will also recopy the 3 years Tax Returns?

Send all the requested documents that are listed in the RFE. I would send no more and no less.
