Hello,

I have several questions relating to the G-325A that I was hoping some of you might be able to answer.

1. The form asks for the "Applicant's employment last five years." My fiance (the beneficiary) has had jobs in the past but is currently a student at university. Should he list this as his most recent employment?

2. My fiance was a subcontractor in the past for a construction company so he only worked when he wanted to. This allowed him to come to the US for a few months at a time during the year. Should he list that he was employed during his time in the States or not? (I'm thinking yes, because technically he was never "let go" or fired from his job and it was there when he returned. What does everyone else think?)

Thanks!

Do not leave any gaps for the 5 years of employment, account for everything. Even if he didn't have a job for a short time between jobs, state none and the dates he was unemployed...I don't think it would be a problem to write Student starting from whenever to present. However, it would also be appropriate to write None. As far as your second question, I agree with you. If the job was there when he returned then he still had the job, even if he was "on vacation" or took a leave of absence. Hope this helps! :)
