Does anyone know the name of the Bank where we have to go to pay for the Certificado Migratorio?

We're going to try to do this all in one day, so I wold love to hear from someone who's done it

Go to Lab at 6:30am on Friday before Interivew

Go right from the Lab to DAS to ask for the Certificado Migratorio

Go from the DAS office to the medical Appointment in the afternoon.

It looks like the DAS office is 70 blocks away, does that sound about right?

Visa Interview appointment will be on a Wednesday, so we can pick up the results from the medical on Monday and the DAS certificate on Tuesday.

Sound feasible? I think if we can pay the bank ahead of time it will be especially workable, but anyone's opinion would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

I forget the name of the bank, but the plans for yourday are exactly as we did it. Easy and simple...that schedule will work. However she will go into the medical, you cannot join her, and she will leave with the results in hand. They seal it all up with the photos, the DAS card and the DS230. There is a cafe internet just across the 4'lane divided street where you can wait it out... I waited for 3 hours for Vicky.

And Certificado del Migratorio wont be needed unless the Beneficiary has ever left the country, but good to plan on getting it just in case.

Thanks Brad...and congratulations! I went back and read all your info on the CR-1 board and it's so nice to read all that knowing the outcome. I'm so psyched for you guys. We're trying to have every base covered so there's nothing they can say. We have plenty of pictures, and phone records and msn messenger convos for the past 2 years. I filed my 2006 tax return the moment the W-2 came in the mail last week so I would have the record to bring. We're 4 weeks away from the interview...and I go through periods of confidence and nervousness, but this site and the community of people we met are truly awesome.

Hi All:

Just posting a message here to get this thread back up towards the top of the forum. I have gotten 2 or 3 PMs recently with requests for information that is already detailed quite extensively on this thread. So, I wanted to make sure some of our newer members...who are just now getting to the packet 3/4 stage...can find this thread very easily.

Any other news of late? I am preparing the AOS and EAD reports for submission this week. Pretty easy, from what I can tell...just lots of money....almost $1000 between my wife and step-daughter.

Not sure if there is an English version....since it is intended for the Colombian spouse. If you know any basic Spanish, you can get the gist of what it says and, if not, you can always feed the sentence into a translator such as freetranslation.com. That is what I did and it really helped so that we had everything done correctly.

 Yahoo! K-3 approved (107 days) and CR-1 appoved (123 days) in the same day! Took a while, but happy that things will be moving along faster now. Time to finish getting packet 3 in order and collecting the information for packet 4. How cool :D

Congradulations Brad on getting your visa in hand! Although it took a while, it's definitely worth it. Kinda jealous of your trip to Bogota though, would like to have been down there myself.

Good luck! Go get your man girl! I will be heading to the interview next wednesday.

Sorry LOL. The above reply was meant for Oskar and Andrea.
