I-134 Questions Please!

Hello everyone,

I have asked this question before but just want to make sure.

I received our NOA2 and ready to submit my I-134 to my fiance for her interview. Hoping to schedule for next month - June.

I'm worried about my financial status since I was collecting unemployment for the year 2009 & partly thru 2010 while working consulting jobs to get by. My work history for 2007-08 are good since I have proof of steady work where I can submit tax info (ie W2's and 1099s) which is well over the poverty line.

Will the embassy make a big deal if I just started a new job this month? I will be making well over the poverty line to meet the requirement and I also own property that I'm renting and other assets I can claim. Would I still need a co-sponsor??

I will be submitting a letter from my current employer along with letters of clients I do consulting with that verify my yearly income and my hourly rate for part-time consulting along with bank statements & retirement accounts.

Many of my friends who have gone through this say I should have no problem since what matters most is during the status of adjustment after we get married.

Hope I can resolve this since I want to sent my I-134 to my fiance soon.

Thanks everyone to whomever can answer this! any input would help!
