My fiance's K1 visa was approved on Tuesday the 11th. I was hoping that he would receive his passport from DHL by today at the latest-but it seems it is still being held for processing in Kingston. How long has it taken others to get their passports back from the embassy? Anxious for him to get it and get on home! :)

I think one of the yardies (Nat?) was checking the website and it said it was still being processed when it was actually in MoBay...

Is your fiance' getting the visa in Kingston or MoBay?

You could try to contact the local DHL office and see :star:

Thanks guys! I have a welcome home party planned for Saturday so he had better be home by then! Haha! :)

I will try to do some research and see if I can find a local phone number for the office in MoBay. Thats where he will pick it up-or wait for it to be delivered-whichever comes first!

I am also waiting for my husband to get his passport and we were approved on the 5th! I have emailed the embassy 2 times and they said hus visa was printed on 5/13 and to contact DHL. We called DHL and they said the embassy has not released it yet. 2nd email from embassy said to allow until the end of the week  I thought we were pass the waiting game but I guess not. Guess I'll just have to keep my fingers crossed.

Ugh! This is so frustrating! What is the hold up?! I guess I will try emailing as well. Maybe if we all bother them enough they will pick up the pace!

Congrats on the recent approvals. Yes, it is a waiting game and it does vary. Just continue to call the local DHL number and check the website! It soon come!
