regarding police clearance from the age of 16..For Philippines do I need to get a police clearance from all cities or places that I lived in?

Or does it cover all the places in Phils the NBI clearance as police clearance?

also, and this may be tougher

another thing...is CFO still needed if I exit in Kuala lumpur? or does it only apply for Filipino who exit in Manila?

Police clearance is needed if you have lived in other country for 6 months. If you haven't then you only need NBI clearance.

I don't know if CFO still applies if you exit in other country. You will may still be required if Philippine immigration finds out that you are heading for USA. If I were you I would play safe and attend the seminar it's only half day anyway. I would not take chances of being denied at the airport just because I missed attending CFO.

U need only one police clearance from the philippines. U may ask the philippine embassy in kuala lumpur if they would require you to attend the CFO seminar.

This is bad info according to the K-1 guide from the manila embassy. K-1 visas need police clearances from countries they have lived more than 6 months since the age of 16. http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwfk1en.pdf

As far as clearances...for the PI it is just a NBI clearance.

As far as the CFO thing...if they fly out of manila they will need it if they are holding a philippine passport...if just flying through...they shouldnt need it, but I cant say for sure. You or your fiancee can call the CFO to make sure though.

Things are going good. I did have a post about her being on her way...I just havent had time to upload the photos from when she first got here. It is too cold for Mhay right now...hehe. Actually she is adjusting and the weather is getting warmer. As long as the sun is shining it is pretty nice here...and we have A LOT of time for sunshine right now.

Actually she is adjusting and the weather is getting warmer. As long as the sun is shining it is pretty nice here...and we have A LOT of time for sunshine right now.

yeah with me living in Minnesota I think Floriann is a bit concerned with the winters as well.. Heck I tell her is is 60 degrees and beautiful outside she has a hard time thinking about how I could think something so cold could feel nice. I am happy she is adjusting to life in Alaska.

Yeah the past few days have been in the 60s here....supposed to be in the 70s this week though

The house is warm from the sunlight in the day. When we go to bed Mhay asks me if I will use the comforter...I tell her no...it's already warm enough in the house. I know toward the morning it gets a little chilly in the house and then I use the comforter. Mhay is worried for winter though. It will definately be a challenge since the lack of sunlight and cold beyond imagination for her.

has she been able to grasp the fact that in a few short months it will be colder outside than the inside of your freezer??

I love my gals reation to that thought.. (according to her we will be spending a lot of time under the covers)

Yeah I guess we havent put it that way as far as the cold. She is still trying to grasp that it will probably be snowing in september. It will be only one winter here for her though. I will be getting stationed somewhere else by sept 2011....just dont know where exactly.

I would go to europe, but they are constantly deployed in my job...I dont want to spend any time away from Mhay now.
