back ground checks?

Hi, everyone! I am going to my I-485 interview at san antonio TX tomorrow... A little bit nervous but we should be fine. I have read a lot of interview experience recently. I found that a lot of people had the pain of "name check is not cleared yet" even when they had no problem to pass the interview itself. They had to wait a bit for the green cards to arrive. I also found that the FBI background check might take a long time. I also heard that IO would not even touch the case if the name check is not cleared? Is the "name check uncleared" a common problem even for people got the interview notice? Should I worry about this?

We didn't have a name check issue in our case, although we did have an interview for AOS. Just like during the petition/visa process, it probably has a lot to do with the common-ness of the names being checked vs. the likelihood that someone with that name or a similar name is on any sort of watch list.
