resubmit I-864 or wait till get REF?

Hi everyone,

I didn't attach my wife (sponsor)'s tax return since she hadn't filed return yet while i was sending all forms off.

However, i have a joint sponsor, all his documents were attached.

We just filed her return recently, should I resubmit the I-864 with her tax return now or wait till I get a REF?

Looking forward to getting everyone's advice....

Wait to see if you get an RFE. If you send anything now it probably will not get to the correct officer.

Wait until the RFE arrives. Sending it too early without the RFE will probably get lost or shredded.

05/14/2010: Biometrics Appointment, I-485 and I-765 touched (Day 38)

05/17/2010: I-485 and I-765 touched (Day 41)

06/08/2010: EAD card production ordered (Day 63)

06/19/2010: EAD card received (Day 74)

07/02/2010: Interview letter received (Day 87)

08/04/2010: Interview (Day 120)==> Approved!!. Card Production Ordered text received

08/21/2010: Greencard received (Day 137)

Eligible for ROC: 05/04/2012

Eligible for Naturalization: 08/04/2013

Thank you Ning & Nartaki.

I was hoping to resubmit the form without ref, thought that will not delay my application process time. After your advices, I will send it till I get the ref then. Just hope they will send the letters to my po box address since I lost two biometric letters already, which said my resident address was undeliverqble. :(

btw, did u responde your ref yet Nartaki? If yes, did they touch your form again?

Yeah I got the Case Resumption notice today, my case got delayed by 2 weeks by the RFE. Doesnt matter anymore cuz my biometrics is on Friday.

Now I expect my interview letter to arrive in June for a date in July :-(

BTW, did the REF show up on your online status for I-485?

I had two letters were mailed to my address, but they were returned to USICS. don;t know if its a REF or Biometric letter. However, my I-485 online status is still under initial review.
