Is there a specific "Subject Line" format and "File Name" format that the NVC prefers for electronic submission? I'm preparing to email in our DS-230 and supporting documents, and I want to make sure they are submitted as smoothly as possible.

Thanks!!!

For mine, I made the subject line MTL2010xxxxxx DS-230 and I simply called my file DS230, and that worked for me. I did not put any text in the body of the email.

Um, the xxxxxx are the last 6 digits of my case number, in case that is not clear.

Always start the subject line with your case # (I too followed that with the document name, i.e. DS230) and in the body of the email list the petitioner and beneficiaries names, email addr's, and DOB's.

I did the same thing, basically you need to include all the same information as you would if you called the NVC and spoke to an operator. Case number, names, email addresses, and DOBs for both petitioner and beneficiary.

Removal of Conditions Journey:

2012 May 4 - mailed I-751

2012 May 8 - delivered @ CSC

2012 May 18 - NOA1

2012 Jun 15 - biometrics appointment

2012 Dec 12 - I-751 approved

2012 Dec 20 - Received 10-year GC!
