Hello People, Its unfortunate the Ghana embassy is doing this to us. As at now, we still have not come out with any solution to our problem. What i mean here is that, we still have not found the exact person or the authority to whom we can direct our issues to as the Ghana Accra Consulate keeps ignoring our emotional feelings and keep delaying our interviews dates. People, We need to act NOW. Plz suggest so that we could all point our mails and letters to a single person. It is thru this i think we could be heard.

Now my question is, how does the Accra consulate notify to pick up packet 3 & 4..? Do they send email, or send a letter through the post office or gives a call? Plz those of you who already have your interview dates, I would plz want to know how you were notified? My K1 got approved on 17th of March. NVC at last sent it on 4th April. Well, there's no interview date as I write this post and I know it might hit october or after october if I should get it. This is really heart breaking...! :(

But try to answer my question. Thank you.

In God We Trust..!

They send a snail mail letter (but we all know how mail is there). You can email them (with NVC number and case number) and start bugging them and ask them to email the letter to you and then you can forward to your fiance to go pick up pkt 3 and 4 (same day pickup with interview date). You can also call and bug them. 23321741700 open 3pm-4pm ghana time, thats the main line. ManTra provided me with this information, they got their inteview on Apr 28th for Oct. Best of luck.

I will be pestering them in the next few weeks as well once I know NVC has processed my case.

When I went through the K1 process last year, my (then) fiance never received any notification from the embassy regarding picking up his packets. I sent an email to the embassy and they confirmed that a letter was sent. I sent him a copy of their email response, a copy of the NOA2, and a copy of the letter I received from the NVC which indicated they had sent his package to the embassy. He took all of these documents to the embassy and they gave him is packets without a problem. I remember reading that other had done the same. Maybe it still works in lieu of having the actual letter from the embassy.

Emails take about a month to be answered now...My husband had called and they confirmed they had his file and then they told him to call back in a weekhe called and they told him to come to the embassy the next day at 730am. He went to the embassy they took down him name and told him to come back at 2pm. When he got there at 2pm he was escorted into a room with other people and they called his name handed him the packet and he was escorted out. The packet has like a cover all (xeroxed copies stapled together)...his name was "scribbled" on the front with the interview date. I think that everyone who showed up on that day got the same date...but i am not sure about that...

We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation. And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us...
