Do we need an original copy again of the I-864 for the interview?

Hello VJ friends I have a question about the i-864, do we need to submit a new notarized i-864 again or we can use a photocopy of what has been submitted to the NVC?

You dont need it notorized. It is a good idea to send your wife everything that you sent in from the start of the petition. they didnt ask for the I-864 at Mhay's interview, but she had it just in case.

the Consul will have the original I-864 at the time of the interview as well as all the other submitted documents. But yes its better if the applicant has a copy so he/she knows the information on the documents that might be asked during the interview.

yes. also bring another set of NBI clearance, Marriage Cert, Marriage Index aka Cenomar and birth cert... for your peace of mind.

Very good idea Every interview is different. MattandRian (Marianne) was asked for quite a few things during her interview - phone logs, chat, email, etc. Just yesterday, my wife wasn't asked for a thing except a few photos...crazy. She lugged around about 20kg worth of evidence for nothing . You can't take too much, there's no way of knowing what they'll ask you for so have it ALL
