I believe the consulate want to conduct a thorough investigation on those cases they have at thier disposal before they would accept new cases from the NVC. We should keep in mind that operator at NVC always gives scripted information to callers. I contacted them yesterday and they gave me the same "old song respond" - "Accra consulate has limited capacity" - "We schedule interview base on the capacity at the consulate" - "We schedule interview on the 2nd week of each month. It is quiet irritating because the can't give u a specific answer to your specific concern. I think they are just hesitant in giving information regarding this latest development. We should expect a longer wait if we don't get the authority involve.

My wife's case was completed at NVC on December 2, 2009. Could someone tell me how long it would take for her to be schedule for an interview at Accra consulate?
