I was just wondering--are there specific colors for the different slips (approved, denied, AP) given at the end of the interview? Or are they all white?

I'm wondering about Indian consulates, specifically Mumbai.

01/25/2010: I-130 NOA2
03/23/2010: Case completed.
05/12/2010: CR-1 interview at Mumbai, India.
05/20/2010: US Entry, Chicago.
03/01/2012: ROC NOA1.
03/26/2012: Biometrics completed.
12/07/2012: 10 year card production ordered.

09/25/2013: N-400 NOA1

10/16/2013: Biometrics completed

12/03/2013: Interview

12/20/2013: Oath ceremony

I think its all white for all the Indian consulates. Honestly I don't remember getting any slip after my visa approval, I think CO just said visa is approved and I went to VFS with the receipt slip VFS provided earlier when I paid their courier fee.

No slips for my wife too. Just the magical words " You are approved"

02-09-2007 : Marriage

I-130 Stage (Filed while I was on Green card)

California Service Center

06-11-2007 : I-130 Sent

08-04-2009 : I-130 Approved

NVC Stage

09-04-2009 : NVC Received

09-08-2009 : NVC case# assigned (Waiting game begins to Upgrade my case to IR-1)

01-22-2010 : Became U.S. citizen (Sent request to upgrade petition from F2A to IR-1 catagory)

02-17-2010 : Case finally upgraded to IR-1

03-20-2010 : Case complete

04-12-2010 : Receiced interview notice.

Chennai Consulate Stage

05-01-2010: Medical

05-04-2010: Interview Approved!!!!!!

05-21-2010: POE at San Francisco

06-21-2010: Received GC in mail

They just told my wife that she is approved. No slips. The visa was mailed about 3 days after the interview by VFS. Those three days wait was painful after the interview till we got the passports in hand !!

9/1/2009: Applied for I-130

9/14/2009: NOA1 for I-130

9/21/2009: NOA1 for I-129F (CSC)

9/25/2009: NOA1 received for I-129F (receipt of mail)

01/08/2010 : Thank you very much Jesus..... NOA 2 129F

01/08/2010 : NOA 2 I-130

01/15/2010 : Embassy gets the approval notice (Awesome..Love K3...so glad we have done K3)

01/20/2010: Embassy schedules interview for K3

02/19/2010: K3 interview over and approved.

Albeit at at different embassy, but I was approved, given the pink slip, paid for my passport to be returned, and then found out 17 days later that I was in AP. So please don't make any concrete plans UNTIL you get your passport.

I agree with Treehugger. As that is exactly what happened to my fiance. 2nd interview he was told he was approved and they requested for his passport, and then got passport returned and told we were in AP. Don't book anything until you have your passport with visa. Just look at availability dates, but just don't put anything down until you have the visa.
