Packet 3

Ok so I am having a worry and I just need a little bit of re-assurance.

I filled out the checklist for packet 3 and sent in back to the London Embassy. The checklist told me not to send any documents/forms back and to bring them with me to the interview. I have been reading reviews and it seems people sent there forms back with the checklist.

Did I do wrong?

I think the packet 3 part is handled differently in different consulates.I think you would get a better response if you posted this question in the UK forum.

You do send some forms back - this should help.

The Checklist will specifically say 'documents', meaning the actual items on the checklist itself - police certificates, birth certificates etc. You DO need to send in the packet 3 forms, however - DS-156 etc. You then take copies of the submitted forms PLUS the documents (items on the checklist) to your interview.

I got a letter from the Embassy only requesting one of the forms (DS230) they didnt say I was missing anything else. So I resent including the DS230
